Internet Retailer magazines March 2011 business e-mail marketing survey reflect some interesting trends. Depending on your type of business, how you conduct your email marketing and how you address other various considerations, some businesses are reporting up to a 25% increase in their online sales.
The survey shows that overall 53.6% of the respondents reported only 10% of their sales came from e-mail marketing, while 5.4% reported a 25% increase. 25% of the respondents reported a low of only 0.5% increase in sales. The spring session of the Ravalli County Economic Development Authority’s (RCEDA) Building Bitterroot Business series begins with the first class on Friday April 22nd. An additional course has been added so the series now includes 6 classes. We changed the curriculum to include a separate course on business entities and how it relates to raising capital. This class will be taught by two excellent attorneys and will include a primer on S-Corps, LLCs and the other business entity options, and will discuss the implications of that choice for raising money and taxes. Ravalli County, through its sub-recipient Ravalli County Economic Development Authority (RCEDA), is issuing a request for separate sealed bids for the construction of the Pantry Partners Food Bank Facility (PPFB) to be located in Stevensville, Montana. This construction project will be partially funded by FY2010 grant for $450,000 from the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) of the Montana Department of Commerce to Ravalli County and administered by the RCEDA. We recommend that businesses avail themselves of free information from State government and the U.S. Census bureau. Businesses also need to “drill down” to more specifics about their industry and RCEDA can provide this information at an affordable price. Specified Fittings has acquired all assets of Poly Warehouse located in Stevensville, Montana. This acquisition doubles Specified’s HDPE production capabilities and broadens the line both dimensionally and configuration wise.
