Bob Thomas is the Ravalli County Bank Vice President and Corvallis Branch Manager. Bob joined Ravalli County Bank in January 2006 and in January 2007 was elected Vice President.

He received his BS degree in Finance from Montana State University in 1977. After graduation Bob began his banking career with a Savings & Loan in Bozeman and in 1984 joined First Bank System, now US Bank.

After transfers to Billings and then Missoula, Bob left US Bank in 1999 to come back to the Bitterroot. He managed the Western Federal Savings Branch in Hamilton; now First Security Bank, until 2003 when he accepted the Branch Presidency of Rocky Mountain Bank in his hometown of Stevensville .

Bob graduated high school from Stevensville High School in 1969 and is now very involved with the town’s activities including the Stevensville Community Foundation and its Community Center building group. He also serves as Treasurer for the Ravalli County Economic Development Board of Commissioners.

Bob also continues involvement with the Bitterroot Valley Chamber of Commerce having served as president in 2003. His wife Deb and their spoiled dog Lucky live in Stevensville. Their son Pat lives and works in Hamilton. Bob specializes in commercial and real estate lending but has worked in all phases of banking throughout his career.
