The spring session of the Ravalli County Economic Development Authority’s (RCEDA) Building Bitterroot Business series begins with the first class on Friday April 22nd. An additional course has been added so the series now includes 6 classes. We changed the curriculum to include a separate course on business entities and how it relates to raising capital. This class will be taught by two excellent attorneys and will include a primer on S-Corps, LLCs and the other business entity options, and will discuss the implications of that choice for raising money and taxes.  The business entity course used to be taught on the same day as Human Resources (HR). The HR class, taught by the Bitterroot Job Service staff, will now be two hours long and contains valuable information on hiring and other employment issues.

For more information you can contact the RCEDA at 375-9416 or the Bitterroot College at 375-0100.
